Been very busy lately just living life. You’ve asked, so here are the highlights…
Took care of the Cindy Lou hairdo:
Sorry Beach Babe Linda. It was a matter of necessity. I did, however, trim too much off the front amd Jack came out looking a little like Spanky from the Little Rascals.
I must be more sentimental than I think, because I did get a little weepy.
NYC’s Morning Monologues blogger (now residing in LA for a brief stint) came up to meet Jack. They had a swell time eating cupcakes and playing with makeshift puppets:
That visit was shortly followed by a visit from Granna (my mom) and Nanna (my aunt). It was so great to see them both and let them have some low key Jack time. Granna purchased this stroller for Jack:
It is hands down the best toy as far as bang for the buck goes. He LOVES it. We cannot leave the house without it. He no longer wants to ride in a stroller. He only wants to walk pushing HIS stroller. The fact that it has pink hearts all over it only causes more confusion. Now people really think he is a little girl no matter what he is wearing.
Granna and Nanna did get a bit more “quality” bonding time than they originally anticipated since Jack contracted a stomach bug the day after they arrived and we pretty much dealt with that the entire week. Sesame Street was in high demand along with the requisite “airing out” time. Sometimes these two activities were combined for loads of fun…
Jack recently attended his first political rally. Things were moving a bit slow, so he put in a call to the powers that be, and got the show on the road shortly thereafter.
It appears they are really serious about the youth voter turnout in ‘08.
K took a brief work trip to Chicago with the added bonus of dinner with his sister. I’ve been busy writing and teaching lately. Plans are in place for a new job starting in April. Will give you the details on that later!
In the mean time, wish a big Happy Birthday to a now 2 year old Otis and vist muchado for the last of February and March’s pictures.
